Bertani winery is known as “The Father of Amarone” when it started producing Amarone in 1953, the first vintage was released in 1958, officially defining the Amarone wine style.
Amarone Bertani has its own style, slightly Burgundy, focusing on purity, 1-2% vol lower than other Amarone (aged grapes with more minerals). In terms of quality, there is certainly nothing to argue about, clearly showing the characteristics of the soil.
